One more reason to live in LoHi – Williams and Graham

One more reason to live in LoHi – Williams and Graham Speakeasy.

Shhhhhh…. It’s a secret.

Well, maybe not a secret, but intended to be thought of as such the newest opening in Lohi is Williams and Graham Bar and Restaurant.

On the corner of 32nd and Tejon across from the LoHi Steak Bar  you will find a rather modest looking bookstore.  Let me correct that, an incredibly modest looking bookstore with a mere two walls of books for sale.

This is due to the fact that the bookstore is merely the front for a historically themed speakeasy and restaurant nestled in soft lighting and old time jazz behind those bookcases.

The cocktail list is amazing and the bartenders know their stuff as they mix everyone a favorite drink from behind the long wooden handmade bar.

Order a drink they made up for me last night… It’s called “The Urban Brain”.  This cocktail masterpiece was created by Williams and Graham mixology master Heshoa Smyth.  He wrote down the ingredients for me and said he’ll make it for anyone who comes in and asks for it.

  • 1.5 oz Wodka Vodka
  • 0.5 oz Dimmi
  • 0.5 oz Vida Mezcal
  • 1 inch Muddle Cucumber
  • 1/8th Muddle Aijou Pear
  • ½ oz Lemon Juice
  • ½ oz Ruby Grapefruit Juice
  • ½ oz Habanero Honey Juice
  • Garnish Salt Rim + Smoked Mynthe Cucumber Slice

LoHi has done it again with another great addition to this residential neighborhood of modern lofts and historic Denver Square homes.   As if this MOD neighborhood couldn’t get any better…. It just did.

Better get there soon to check it out because while a speakeasy is a secret… this place won’t be for long.

The neighborhood is moving just as fast.  Contact Peter or any of the great team members at milehimodern to learn more about the terrific LoHi neighborhood.
